2026 ACA Premium Tax Credit Calculator
Compare your original household income estimate with your current projection to explore potential premium tax credit reconciliation. Enter tax-year family size, the benchmark Silver plan premium, your plan premium, and advance credits received. Use actual Marketplace records; this page does not provide live ZIP-based plan quotes.
Example scenario and assumptions
Try an original income estimate of $60,000 and a revised estimate of $80,000 while keeping family size, coverage months, and premiums the same. Compare the credit and repayment estimates, then test another income scenario. Those income amounts illustrate how to use the tool; they do not establish eligibility or a repayment amount.

For tax years beginning after 2025, repayment limits for excess advance premium tax credits have been removed. Final eligibility and reconciliation also depend on household modified adjusted gross income, coverage, filing status, Form 1095-A, and other requirements. A deduction scenario assumes you qualify for the deduction. Income changes, coverage changes, and future law changes can alter the result.
